At Europe Telecom, we are committed to adhering to standards of regulatory compliance to ensure the safety, security, and satisfaction of our customers. 1. Environmental Compliance

  • E-Waste Management: We adhere to the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive, ensuring responsible recycling and disposal of electronic waste. Our recycling program complies with all relevant national and international regulations to minimize environmental impact.
  • Hazardous Substance Regulations: We comply with the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) Directive, ensuring that our products are free from harmful substances like lead, mercury, and cadmium.

2. Data Protection and Privacy

  • General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR): We are fully compliant with GDPR, ensuring the privacy and protection of our customers’ personal data. Our data handling practices are transparent, and we have robust measures in place to safeguard customer information.
  • Data Security: Our company follows industry best practices for data security, including encryption, secure data storage, and regular security audits, to protect against unauthorized access and data breaches.

3. Consumer Protection

  • Product Safety: All our gadgets undergo rigorous testing and quality control to ensure they meet safety standards and regulatory requirements. We comply with the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA) and other relevant regulations to ensure the safety and reliability of our products.
  • Transparent Communication: We adhere to advertising and marketing regulations, ensuring that all product information is accurate and not misleading. We provide clear and detailed product descriptions, including specifications, warranties, and return policies.

4. Trade Compliance

  • Import/Export Regulations: We comply with all relevant import and export regulations, ensuring that our products meet the necessary requirements for international trade. Our supply chain practices adhere to customs laws and trade agreements to facilitate smooth cross-border transactions.
  • Conflict Minerals: We ensure that our supply chain is free from conflict minerals, adhering to the Dodd-Frank Act Section 1502. We require our suppliers to source responsibly and provide transparency in their supply chains.

5. Health and Safety

  • Customer Health and Safety: Our products comply with all relevant health and safety regulations, including the Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Directive, to ensure that our electronic gadgets are safe for consumer use.

6. Ethical Business Practices

  • Anti-Corruption and Bribery: We have a zero-tolerance policy towards corruption and bribery. Our company complies with the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and the UK Bribery Act, promoting ethical business practices and integrity in all our operations.
  • Fair Labor Practices: We adhere to fair labor practices and comply with labor laws and regulations, including the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). We ensure that our suppliers and partners uphold similar standards, promoting fair wages and safe working conditions.

7. Payment

  • Terms: Payment terms are normally CBD (cleared funds before delivery) unless the Customer has a credit account with Europe Telecom in place or has purchased Cloud Services from Europe Telecom and has provided its credit card or bank account details in accordance with clause 15 prior to despatching. A receipt will only be issued for credit card payments upon request.

8. Trade agreement

  • Application: The Customer is required to complete the Reseller Application Form in order for Europe Telecom to open a dealer account for trading. The Customer requests that Europe Telecom supply goods and/or services for which the Customer undertakes to pay Europe Telecom the agreed price(s) within the terms agreed, or if no such terms have been approved by Europe Telecom, by cleared funds before delivery. A credit account may be granted to the Customer at the sole discretion of Europe Telecom. Details of the credit account will be noticed separately. The Customer must maintain the credit account with Europe Telecom within the credit limit and payment terms provided. Payment is required immediately if the account exceeds the credit limit and/or is outside the payment terms. Europe Telecom reserves the right to cancel credit accounts without prior notice. All overdue amounts are subject to a default interest rate of 3% per annum above the prevailing prime lending rate, calculated on an overdue balance on a daily basis.

 

9. Warranty

·        Terms :All products supplied by Europe Telecom are covered, as standard, by the relevant manufacturer’s warranty on a Return to Base (RTB) basis, which means that a defective product is required to be returned to Europe Telecom or the Authorised Service Centres of Europe Telecom at the Customer’s own cost. Details of the manufacturer’s warranty for individual products are listed separately in the Warranty Matrix which Europe Telecom reserves the right at all times to change according to the manufacturer’s direction.

 

·        Any return of a defective product to Europe Telecom must be first authorised in accordance with the following process:

·        (a) The Customer must obtain a Return Authorisation Number (RA Number) from Europe Telecom prior to shipping the defective products to Europe Telecom.

·        (b) The Customer shall then be authorised to return the defective products, noting the RA Number and proof of purchase, to Europe Telecom or the Authorised Service Centres of Europe Telecom.

·        Europe Telecom will not accept any return or claim under the manufacturer's warranty of a defective product if it does not comply with the above procedure. No defective product or claim under the warranty or return of any product will be credited to the Customer's account unless the Customer has complied with the directions of Europe Telecom.
